IMPORTANT: Domain Name Conditions
- Domain name has not expired and within 15 days from the domain expiry date.
- Domain name must be registered for more than 90 days.
- Domain name must be renewed for more than 45 days.
- Ensure the domain name status is set to "ACTIVE".
- Ensure the domain name status is set to "UNLOCKED", if domain is still locked, please contact your current registrar to have them set it to unlocked
- Ensure the domain name Whois Privacy Protection (if purchased) is disabled.
- Ensure the email address of the administrative contact for the domain name must be valid. We correspond with the administrative contact for the transfer request approval.
- Make sure you already have the domain password / domain EPP code , if you don't have it please contact your current registrar.
- If your domain registered with ID Protection, you need to disable it first.
Transfer of Domain Name Process:
- We will submit your domain transfer request to our domain registrar right away upon receiving of your order and payment confirmation.
- The administrative email contact of your domain name will receive a domain transfer authorization email.
- You will have to follow the instructions given in the domain transfer authorization to authorize your domain name to be transferred to Seekdotnet.
- The losing registrar (your current domain provider) might send you another email on your domain transfer confirmation and you will need to follow the instructions given in the confirmation email send to the admin contact of your domain name.
- You will have to wait for the losing registrar to release your domain name to seekdotnet( usually 1 to 3 working days).
- Your domain name successfully transferred to Seekdotnet upon losing registrar releasing of your domain name.
- All Transfer are included with 1 year renewal.
To complete the transfer of your domain from other registrar to SeekDotNet, please follow the following steps :
for New Customer ( If you are our existing customer Scroll down the the existing customer section)
- Please visit the following url https://services.seekdotnet.com to initiate the transfer.
- To register new domain you need to select option number #1 "
- enter your domain name then click on the "Check availability" button to proceed, after that click add to cart.
- In this page you have to enter your domain EPP code/ domain transfer password
- If there is no problems with the transaction, your domain should be transferred within 7 days.
for Existing customer
- If you already have an account with us, you can login to your billing portal at https://services.seekdotnet.com
- After login click on Order , on the Drop down menu please select domain registration
- To register new domain you need to select option number #1 "
