Step by Step Reseller Guide

With DotNetPanel Reseller you can full customize your control panel bacause DotNetPanel provides full source codes for you. You can install it directly to your website and give the control panel address to your customer. You can edit the font, the text, the css styles , and even the programming logic behind.
DotNetPanel allows you to host unlimited reseller layer. This means you can resell Reseller Plan and your Reseller can resell Reseller Plan and so on.

 1. Create Private Nameservers (DNS) in DotNetPanel, please follow the below steps:

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Click on the hosting space.

c. Click on 'Nameservers' under 'Settings' option on right hand side.

d. Select 'Override Host Settings'.

e. Enter the preferred Primary and secondary Name servers and save it.

 2. Register Domain Name Server (DNS)

a. Enter your Domain Controler/Management

b. Register your name server using this format

ns1.yourdomain.com with IP 70.87.211.26

ns2.yourdomain.com with IP 208.43.207.89

 

 

3. Add domain to your DotNetPanel (you can skip this step if your domain already added to Dot Net Panel)

 

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Click your Package

c. Click on 'Domains' under the Hosting Space Menu on the left

d. Click on the 'Add Domain' button

e. Select Domain

f. Fill in the domain or subdomain name you wisht to add. Make sure to check the boxes for Create Web Site, Enabled DNS, Create Instant Alias

g. Click 'Add Domain'

 4. Create Hosting Plan for your webhosting product

You can set up several hosting plan and configure it according your needs.

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Click "Hosting Plans" at your left panel

c. Click "Create Hosting Plans" at menu

d. Fill in "Plan Name" and "Plan Description"

e. Select your "Hosting Space"

f. Check mark the appropriate resources, such as: system, website, FTP, mail, MSSQL, MySql, DNS, Statistics. And click Save.

g. Allocate resources for your hosting plan and click 'save'

 5. Create Hosting Addon for your webhosting product (Optional if you want to sell addon)

You can also set up addon for your hosting plan and configure it according your needs.

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Click 'Hosting Addons' at your left panel

c. Click 'Create Hosting Addons' at menu

d. Fill in 'Add-On Name' and 'Addon Description'

e. Check mark the appropriate resources, such as: system, website, FTP, mail, MSSQL, MySql, DNS, Statistics. And click Save.

g. Allocate resources for your hosting plan and click 'save'

 6. Install Dot Net Panel Control Panel Portal at your hosting online store

You can install at subdomain.yourdomain.com or in yourdomain.com/directory

This portal will be addressed for your client control panel login.

a. Login to DotNetPanel

b. Click your Package

c. Click 'Applications Installer' at left panel

d. Choose DNP Portal and click 'Install'

e. Select Website you want to install DNP

f. Fill in virtual directory (optional)

g. Fill in Portal Name

h. Fill in Enterprise Server URL with http://50.22.22.248:9002

i. Click Install

Enter your portal using your control panel username and password

 8. Setup your billing system

We encourage you to use WHMCS Billing system because you can control your billing system, invoice,  automatic plan creation, support alot of payment gateway and DO NOT have limitations like DotNetpanel Billing System. And as you can see WHMCS it's not free, you have subscibe for the services. You can buy WHMCS from here. DotNetPanel billing system has a lot of limitation that we really encourage you to purchase WHMCS if you plan to become good hosting company. We also use WHMCS integrate with DotNetPanel.
