What is Shared SSL?

Shared SSL is configured as a SSL certificate but without your domain name information. It is configured as anonymous SSL identity which means if your user view the certificate information, they will not be able to see your company name and therefore they might not trust the certificate itself.

If you plan to host a live website where you captured sensitive information, consider to purchase a dedicated SSL certificate. This will gain a trust from your user to fill in their sensitive information.

Please note that SSL certificate requires a dedicated IP address. If you don't have it, you might need to purchase addon from your control panel.

It is normally setup as https://secure.gonewithewind.com/C1111
If you like to have this setup for you, Please create support ticket from http://helpdesk.seekdotnet.com
