How do I modify the NTFS permission for specific folder or file?

Follow these instructions to password protect a directory :

  • Log in to SeekDotNet Control Panel @ http://copanel.yourdomain.com or http://copanel.seekdotnet.com
  • Navigate to the "Permission Manager".
  • Select the directory you desire to change the permission.
  • Once you find the desired directory, click on the green lock sign.
  • After that add/remove the necessary permissions.
  • Then click on save.
